Our pharmacists can supply EHC when appropriate. If we are unable to help we will direct you to other sources.

Neil, Anna and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments in private if required. We can also give advice on how to live a healthy life e.g. stop smoking and eating healthily. We can also direct you to other sources of advice to compliment your current treatment if required.

Offering NHS flu vaccinations

 

If you have been put on a new medicine to treat certain conditions such as high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes or medicines to thin the blood, please ask us about NMS. This is a free NHS service.

Our computer allows us to keep records of all prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems such as reactions with medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have. We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice of confidentiality.

We can dispense both NHS and private prescriptions and will give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines.

We offer a private consultation room at our pharmacy where you can discuss private or personal issues.

We recommend you consider getting a flu jab If you don't qualify for an NHS vaccination but are:

• susceptible to colds and chest infections
• are self employed and unable to afford time off work
• would like to protect yourself from flu during peak season

We provide advice to increase your knowledge, awareness and understanding on leading healthier lifestyles so as to improve your health. In cases where we cannot provide a particular advice, service or treatment, we will ensure that you are appropriately signposted to other healthcare and social services.

We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. We handle repeat prescriptions, we send reminders and you can order online using our website or app. The NHS prescription charge per item for patients in England is £9.65.

Our pharmacist Neil and our two smoking cessation advisors can provide one on one support to people who want to give up smoking and advise on a range of nicotine replacement products.
